One of the exercises for my Advanced Photoshop class was to create sketches for an original production of Chekhov's The Seagull.

Our instructor didn't want cumbersome scene changes and challenged us to make this a unit set. My goal was to create a space that could be both inside and outside at the same time, to allow some fluidity between interior and exterior scenes without having to physically move scenic pieces.
